Meet the Sales Team
Tony Pruszenski CPMR, President
Founder of TAP Industrial Sales. Tony founded the company in 2016 with the desire to offer a different kind of Sales Rep to the industry – one that was more concerned about problem solving and technical support than just making a sale. That is the culture he stresses to his team.
Tony identified the need for a new Hydraulic Rotary Actuator resource in the America’s to provide a quality product at a competitive price and pursued a relationship with SungJi Hydraulics. In 2016, he partnered with SJH to introduce the SungJi Hydraulics Brand to the America’s at Con-Expo in 2017 and continued to build it from there.
In addition to SJH, TAP represents a diverse portfolio of product and services including: Bearings, Power Transmission components, Truck Protect Equipment, Cable Protect Equipment, and Solutions for the conveying of Solid Materials. With his diverse background, skilled problem solving, and relationship management, he is able to offer OEM’s and Distributors unique solutions that help them capture market share with the companies in Tony’s Toolbox.
Tony brings 30 years of experience to the company starting as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, moving into Engineering and Purchasing for various large OEM’s serving in multiple levels of management during his career. He embarked on his quest for Entrepreneurship as a Manufacturers Rep with the goal to build a team that strives to bring together suppliers and buyers for the commodities he represents. The diverse product offering was curated by his desire to provide the best quality products that meet his client’s needs to be delivered on-time, with engineering support at the right price. Matt Wakefield
Matt has been working with Tony building the SungJi Hydraulics Brand in North America since 2016. The SJH Hydraulic Rotary Actuator line fits into his product background and account development base that he has been working in and developing for over 30 years. Matt specializes in the commercial Large OEM manufacturing marketplace and OEM distribution. He and Tony were instrumental in getting SJH off the ground as they launched the product awareness of the SJH brand to the America’s at Con-Expo in 2017 and continued to build it from there.
Matt has been a part of Rotating Technologies since 1989. Rotating Technologies was started in 1985 to market and sell Power Transmission products throughout the Northeastern part of the US and abroad. These products are identified as: Ball & Roller Bearings of all types, Spherical Rod Ends, Linkages & Controls, other Bearing related products, Roller Chain, Industrial chains & Sprockets, Linear bearings, shafting, ball & acme screws, Centrifugal Pumps, Industrial automation systems and Material Handling products.
Bob Menzel
Bob joined TAP Industrial Sales representing SungJi Hydraulics in 2018. He brings 25 years of Supply Chain and Outside Sales Experience to the company. Bob resides in WI.
Territory includes: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Bob started Menzel Associates in 2009 and has since grown the business to what it is today. His customers are large and small OEM’s in every industry with a Commodities focus on Hydraulics, Wheels and Tires, Light and Heavy Fabrications, and Wire, Cable, and Wire Harnesses.

Mesa Urbom
Mesa joined TAP Industrial Sales representing SungIi Hydraulics in 2017. She brings 18 years of experience in the power transmission markets. Mesa resides in Kansas City
Territory includes: Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Nebraska.
Mesa has been part of John Urbom, Inc since 2002. Her customers include OEM’s in the agricultural, lawn and garden, construction and aerial platform industries as well as distributors in the Midwest.

Laura Pruszenski, Logistics/Operations Manager
Laura joined TAP Industrial Sales in early 2021. She has been handling all the day to day operations from order entry to shipping the product and invoicing it. Laura has a wealth of supply chain experience and has been able to use it to help move TAP forward in 2021 and beyond.

David Roush
David joined TAP Industrial Sales representing SungJi Hydraulics in 2017. He brings 25 years of Hydraulic and Transmission Experience in the Eastern Canada area serving OEM’s and Distribution Networks. David resides in the greater Toronto area.
Territory includes: Ontario and Quebec, Canada
David owns and operates Northeast Technical Services. He has a wealth of experience working with customers in need of Steering System Components, Hydraulic Rotary Actuators, Manifolds, Powder Metal Parts, Metal Stampings or Spring Bushings and Pins.
